License a sapphic film to screen either in-person or virtually

Bringing independent films to audiences requires more than simply making them available. SapphicIFF helps connect filmmakers, cinemas, venues and community organisations to create opportunities for theatrical releases, public screenings and community-led film events. By bringing together the right films, partners and audiences, we aim to make independent sapphic cinema more accessible while creating meaningful exhibition opportunities for filmmakers.

Whether you are a filmmaker looking to arrange screenings, a cinema interested in programming sapphic films or a community group wanting to host an event, we can support the process of identifying suitable films, coordinating partnerships and navigating screening licences. Our approach focuses on building sustainable relationships between filmmakers and exhibitors, helping films reach new audiences while ensuring that rights holders are appropriately compensated for their work.

Minimum fee shown is based on a standard free screening.

If you are charging for entry; the fee is 35% of ticket price, with a minimum charge of the fee shown in the table.
